Anemone Linda Ravenscroft Fairy Statue by Pacific Gifts
Born in 1963, Linda Ravenscroft is a self taught artist who has been painting since she was very young. Inspired by her dreams and inner feeings, her love of nature and fascination for myths and ancient legends is manifested in her amazing art. Whetther you believe in fairies or not, they have a place in our modern day society to bring us light and hope. Her images are inspirational and uplifting, offering hope or a thought for the future of this beautiful world we live in.
She truly believe that we all have a little bit of Faerie light within our hearts, helping us to make the right decisions in our everyday lives we just have to look for it.
This fairy is called the Anemone Fairy. The Anemone Fairy symbolises Protection. Thought to bring luck and protect against evil, mythology connects the Anemone to magical fairies, which were believed to sleep under the petals after they closed at sunset.

Cold-cast resin is generally for sculpture and means that the resin material is cast without the need for the extreme heat of a foundry. It holds very sharp detail when cast. Most of the major lines of figurines on the market today are made of cold cast resin. It is fragile if dropped and fractures similar to glass, usually in clean pieces which can be glued using a household super glue. |
