Ask a Queston About This Item

This uniquely designed Rose of Passion earring with crystal blood drop is pewter with an antiqued black finish.

It coils around your left ear with surgical steel post. A truly stunning piece!

It has a black chain attached that runs behind your ear and clips onto the post before you add the cap to hold it securely to your ear. It's a bit tricky to get used to putting on, but worth it!

Easiest way to put this unique earring on is to put the post thru your ear lobe and affix the back loosely. Then swing the top up and over the top of your ear hooking it in place as shown in the photo. If it is too small and the top will not swing over or bends your upper ear down, remove it and follow the existing bends to gently straighten it a bit. If too large and it will not stay over your ear, remove and follow the existing bends to gently fold the top down lower. Try on again and repeat as needed. Once it fits, snug up the back and keep it sized as is - repeated bending can cause it to break.

Materials
Pewter Pewter is a malleable metal alloy, traditionally 85–99% tin, with the remainder consisting of copper and other metals. It has a low melting point and is very easy to cast in molds. It has been used since ancient times for everything from jewelry to table wear and was once called the "poor mans silver". Generally pewter has a grayish/silver semi-dull finish, though this varies depending on the metals combined with the tin and can be colored black or other shades or plated with gold or silver. All our pewter pieces are lead and nickel free. Pewter is generally hypo-allergenic and will not tarnish or react in most conditions. Note it can break or crack if flexed multiple times and rings cannot be re-sized, though interior ring springs or other adjusters might be used.
Surgical Steel Surgical steel or surgical stainless steel is a specific type of stainless steel, used in medical and jewelry applications, made out of several components: chromium, nickel (or titanium) and molybdenum. It is easy to clean and sterilize, strong, and corrosion-resistant. It is often used for pierced jewelry posts and wires as it does not cause allergic reactions other metals might in some individuals.
Care & Other Information
Polishing Your Jewelry Pewter may dull or even tarnish over time depending on environmental factors and how often it is stored. It can be gently cleaned with a soft cloth or jewelry polishing cloth, but should NOT be cleaned with liquid or abrasive cleaners. Do not put in hot, salty water or dishwasher or submerge any pieces with an antique finish.
Warranty All Alchemy Gothic pieces have a lifetime guarantee against defects and faulty workmanship. In the unlikely event that you should have any such problems, please return them to LABEShops for repair or replacement. With normal wear, your piece should last a lifetime, but do not excessively bend or flex pewter as it can break and such breakage is not covered under warranty.
